Taiga School

Taiga School of AMPANS Taiga School of AMPANS is a special education school funded by the Department of Education, located in Barcelona.

We support children and young people with intellectual disabilities and/or neurodevelopmental disorders.

We design personalized educational pathways, providing tools and resources to help each student achieve meaningful and valuable outcomes in both their social and personal environments.

Educational Stages

Early Childhood Stage (ages 3 to 6)
This stage provides an environment that supports the development of motor, cognitive, social, and emotional skills in children aged 3 to 6.
Primary Stage (ages 7 to 12)
At this stage, students focus on various curriculum areas according to their Individualized Plan (IP). Teaching methods are based on project work, challenges, and flexible groupings.
Secondary Stage and Transition to Adult Life (ages 13 to 20)
In this stage, the focus shifts to reinforcing academic skills, particularly core competencies, to support the development of adaptive behavior, in line with each student's Individualized Plan (IP).
