We develop educational, social, and technological projects in partnership with pioneering entities and companies in the region. We build networks to improve the quality of life for people with intellectual disabilities and those at risk of exclusion.
The UniversiMÉS program is a vital and educational initiative that was launched in 2016 by UManresa and AMPANS. Its objective is to bring the university closer to people with intellectual disabilities, offering them a space to promote critical thinking and access to content that increases and improves their chances of enjoying a fuller and richer life experiences. The launch of this program has been a contribution to the creation of a more inclusive university environment, where diversity enriches interactions among the different members of the community.
The use of Guttmann Neuro Personal Trainer adapted for children and/or youth with intellectual disabilities or adults with intellectual disabilities, will facilitate their inclusion and integration by developing their cognitive functions.
It is an online cognitive tele-rehabilitation platform supervised by professionals who provide personalized treatment through automated or manual rehabilitation of higher functions (attention, memory, language and executive functions).
APP&Town Companion is an application that combines smart city technology with the use of technology to improve the lives of citizens and give them tools to move around the city. It is ideal for people with difficulties in urban mobility, whether on foot or by public transport, and provides access through supervision of their movements. Developed by Mass Factory, the app works in the integrated metropolitan transport system of the ATM in the Barcelona area, the metropolitan area of Madrid, and in the Canadian cities of Laval and Longueil. The project was developed in collaboration with AMPANS and other organizations.
AMPANS has ENTIGEST, a management software for entities that provide services to people with intellectual disabilities, to manage most of the entity’s processes. This software has allowed us to streamline and share information between different professionals in a secure manner, have digitized records of the people served, reduce administrative processes, extract management indicators, automate reports, advance in quality management (ISO, EMAS, OSHAS, EFQM +400), etc.
ENTIGEST is a management tool developed by Global Media Software (GMS) with active collaboration from our entity in proposing improvements and new modules for the platform.
AMPANS collaborates with Control Live in the development of the V-Chair designed for the mobility of people with a high degree of dependence. The smart chair, which has been tested at the Julio Payás residence of AMPANS, helps improve the comfort, health and physical well-being of people with severe mobility difficulties.
After verifying the feasibility of the Smart-Care-robot V-Chair smart chair, developed by the Sant Joan de Vilatorrada company Control Live, AMPANS will provide financial support to the initiative, as a minority partner, so that this Start Up can produce this chair that transforms into a bed.
