This competition is organised by the Cheese Institute and the Oviedo City Council, with the aim of selecting and recognising the best cheese-making projects in Spain and making visible the role of professionals in the sector, as well as the overcoming of technological challenges to achieve the market with the desired product. The jury valued the quality of the cheeses, the artisanal production and the project for the inclusion of people with disabilities in the labour market promoted by Formatges Muntanyola, and their role in the co-creation of a new scenario in the agri-food sector of the future.
