We manage fixed and mobile waste recycling centers. At AMPANS we are highly committed to the environment, we work to be sustainable as an organization and to be able to offer environmental solutions to our customers.
AMPANS has been, since its beginnings, concious of the protection of the environment. It stood out as one of the pioneering organizations of environmentalism with the launch of the Bottle and Paper campaign started in 1973, which was ended, as such, 25 years later. The entity's environmental policy has evolved to the point that it currently manages, by public tender of the Bages Consortium for waste management[http://www.consorcidelbages.cat/ ], 13 fixed waste recycling centers (Súria, Navarcles, Sant Fruitós del Bages, Sant Joan de Vilatorrada, Santpedor, Sant Vicenç de Castellet, Manresa, Castellbell i el Vilar, Avinyó, Navàs, Artés, Moià i Sant Salvador de Guardiola )and 3 mobile ones
It was in 2018 when Medi Ambient SL expanded its services with door-to-door collection of municipal waste, after seeing the need for municipalities to increase their percentages of selective collection to comply with the European Directives. Since then and until today, we have been working on the door-to-door collection service and on the continuous improvement of the service in the towns of Santa Maria d'Oló, Avinyó, Calders and L'Estany to obtain the best results in the matter of recycling and environmental awareness. Currently, the four towns where MASL offers this service are among the only 8 towns in Bages and Moianès with a selective collection rate that exceeds 70%, a very positive figure that meets the objectives set by the regulations for the coming years .
Currently, we have initiated the provision of a new service dedicated to the collection of trailers at recycling points. In addition, we will focus mainly on integrated waste management for private companies and industrial estates.
The AMPANS environment service works as a Special Work Center, training and inserting people with intellectual disabilities or in a situation of vulnerability for the fully autonomous development of professional tasks in recycling, waste management and environment protection activites in different facilities. Our goal is to achieve, together, full social and labor inclusion.

The waste and environment section employs 27 people with disabilities and in vulnerable situations. The Bages Waste Consortium is one of the main companies in terms of work volume for the Special Work Center.
The Organization of Consumers and Users (OCU) has evaluated a total of 37 waste disposal sites throughout Spain and examined their operation, information and recycling procedures. The one in Bufalvent, in Manresa, of the Bages Waste Consortium and managed by AMPANS, has obtained the highest score.
Social support has been key to the progress of AMPANS mission. Both in the achievement of projects that improve the life quality of people with intellectual disabilities and in need of support, and in raising awareness in society. We need you by our side to keep pursuing their full inclusion.
