The training has been carried out within the plan “Som Comunitat. Health and well-being” and will be progressively extended to other services
During the month of June, 100 workers from the Industrial Services section of the Special Employment Centre received intensive and personalised ergonomics and postural hygiene training in their own workplace. The course has been carried out by external physiotherapists of the entity, with the aim of preventing musculoskeletal pathologies and correcting incorrect movements and postures in the workplace.
Each of the participants of the training has carried out 3 hours of training in situ. The first was theoretical training, and the next two were personalised, analysing, one by one, each workstation, postural attitudes and movements of the person, with the aim of applying the relevant corrections. In some cases, as well as correcting incorrect habits, adjustments were made to the workstation, with very satisfactory results for the people who took part.
This intensive work will also result in a report containing the recommendations of the professional physiotherapists, so that each workstation will receive a poster with instructions on how to have a good posture at work and avoid and reduce injuries and pathologies in the future.
The training, in the field of physical health, is part of the plan that we have implemented this spring of health and well-being “Som comunitat”. The training that has been carried out during this month of June in Services to the Industry, will be extended to other services of the entity.
In emotional health, within the same plan and also during this month of June, the residence Julio Payás has participated in the training “The ability to be well, ability to get along well” following the introductory session that were made during the Conference, by the coach Andreu Gatuellas. From September this training will be reaching all AMPANS professionals.
