Is a recognition of his professional work and social commitment
The Executive Council of the Government of Catalonia has approved this Tuesday the awarding of the President Macià 2024 Medal for Work to the general director of AMPANS, Toni Espinal, for his professional career and social commitment. This award, with more than eighty years of history, rewards people who have stood out for their work and services rendered.
The medal recognises Espinal’s dedication and leadership in the promotion of social projects that improve the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities, consolidating AMPANS as a reference entity in care and social inclusion.
The general director of AMPANS, through an internal mail, wanted to share this recognition with the entire AMPANS team. “I consider that this recognition is the result of the collective effort and the sum of the talent, dedication and passion of all the people who are part of this organisation”. For Toni Espinal “this medal highlights the value of the daily work we do, as well as the transformative capacity we have as a team”.
Since 1938, the President Macià Medallions and Plaques have recognised qualities, personal merits and services in the workplace, as well as the promotion of corporate social responsibility, equal opportunities and the reconciliation of personal, professional and family life.
This year’s award winners also include prominent figures and organisations working for innovation, inclusion and social responsibility in Catalonia.
AMPANS, as an organisation, received the President Macià Workplace Plaque in 2008, for equal opportunities in the workplace and reconciliation of personal, work and family life.
