Seven out of the 9 finalists for the Setba Prize were works created in the AMPANS l’Art de Viure workshop
Artists from AMPANS have once again repeated the success obtained in the Premi Setba. In this edition in which 7 out of the 12 selected works were from AMPANS. L’Art de Viure, has been awarded with the second prize and the Design Prize.
The Premi Sebta, considered the most outstanding artistic competition of its kind in Spain, recognises and promotes the artistic expression of artists with intellectual disabilities. This year, 1,460 people from 85 organisations in the intellectual disability sector in Catalonia took part.
The gala was held last night in the auditorium of the CaixaForum.
The event was enlivened with a dance performance co-created by the dancer and psychologist Maria Ribera in collaboration with 5 people, also users of AMPANS, within the project Natura és Cultura.
The exhibition of the selected works will be held at the Pigmento Gallery in Barcelona, located at Trafalgar St, 70, thanks to a collaboration with the catalan art galleries. The exhibition will open on September 28th at 7 p.m. and will run until Sunday October 15th.

3rd prize: L’hotel dels robots del segle XXII by Sofía Alegre of TEB Barcelona
Audience Award: En Pitu by Mar Vallejos of the ACUDAM Foundation.

Since 2017, the company Bardinet has been collaborating with the Premi Setba, selecting from among the thousand works submitted the image of a new label for its solidarity wines Lacrima Bacus which are: the red wines PICO NARANJA and MÉS FELIÇ and the white wine VALENT. The authors of the previous labels were: Erik Nitsch, Claudia Simón, Esperanza Palacios and José Nieto. This year, the company wanted to add a new rosé wine and has chosen a work of art and its title to be the label and the name of this new wine, AMIL. The winning entry was by Marta Pérez. These wines can be found in the Bon Preu and Sorli chains, and in Vinalium shops.
