Jeroni de Moragas School

We attend students form 3 to 21 years old in our nursery, primary education, adapted secondary education and specialized supports. The Special Education School Jeroni de Moragas from AMPANS is a concerted educational center with the Departament d'Ensenyament. The school assist students with special educational needs and offers personalized educational programs to children and teenagers with disabilities and mental health disorders to enhance their personal, social and occupational autonomy.

The school promotes a process of educational transformation, aimed at improving the educational model and provision of educational services in the inclusive school.

How we educate?

Inclusive school

We promote inclusive activities oriented to the students with special educational needs form our school as well as students from other schools in Bages. The activities based on collaborative learning, cover a wide range of objectives related to values education.

CEEPSIR

We are a Special Education Center and Services and Resources for the Inclusion Provider (CEEPSIR). At CEEPSIR we develop programs and services to support the schooling of students with disabilities in ordinary schools.

Green School

We are part of the Green Schools Program of the Department of Education, aiming to move towards sustainability in all sectors. We carry out recycling activities, selective collection and organic farming, among others.

Educational project

We develop a quality intervention model, based on results and personal support. A model designed to become a bespoke suit for each student, to be able to offer a comprehensive and inclusive alternative to regular education for students with disabilities.

Managing project

The teaching staff and management team of the Jeroni de Moragas Special Education School regularly debate and reflect on the school's pedagogical model, the management model and the evaluation model. A management based on criteria of efficiency and effectiveness is established with a flexible and human perspective.

We have adapted facilities and equipment, and we complement the curricular activity with rehabilitative activities, sports, outings, camps, workshops and summer school.

Summer school

Activities for children and young people

The summer school offers children and youth leisure activities to children and young people with intellectual diversity. From June to July in the mornings, there are swimming pool workshops, handicrafts, excursions, games and sports.
