Committed to the Sustainable Development Goals

As committed as we are to people and the environment, we have integrated the Sustainable Development Goals approved by the United Nations General Assembly into our strategic and organizational vision, as well as our commitment to the 2030 Agenda for sustainable development in all areas, economically, socially and environmentally.

As signatories to the United Nations Global Compact, we direct all our actions to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities and those at risk of exclusion, aspiring to a kinder and fairer world that considers future generations.

Among the SDGs, we have set ourselves the goal of contributing to those that are most closely aligned with our mission and ways of working.

1 NO POVERTY

We accompany people with the necessary supports so that they can achieve a dignified life with a future perspective. Adequate housing, education, employment, social participation, quality activities, and a social network.

3 GOOD HEALTH AND WELL-BEING

We work to ensure that people have a good quality of life and guarantee their well-being based on the 8 dimensions of quality of life according to Shalok: self-determination, independence, social inclusion, rights, interpersonal relationships, physical well-being, emotional well-being, and material well-being

4 QUALITY EDUCATION

We accompany the personal and curricular growth of students with specific support needs, and contribute our expertise to the educational community to address diversity in the classroom and make inclusive schools a reality. We provide support through “New Opportunities” for young people who have dropped out of school prematurely.

8 DECENT WORK AND WELL-BEING

We help people to train for a job and create opportunities for them to gain experience, self-esteem, and confidence to defend a job in a normalized environment. We also undertake entrepreneurial projects to make social work sustainable.
