Ongoing and Future Projects

Projects to continue progressing towards the full inclusion of all people.

At AMPANS, we are currently working on various projects with the aim of continuing to progress towards the full inclusion of people, ensuring education and training, quality of life, and the employment inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities, mental illness, and those in vulnerable situations. These are some of the projects that we are carrying out

La Parada, a new residential, training and employment facility

The facility will provide housing for 60 people, will have a training centre and will incorporate a new hospitality project to employ people with disabilities and vulnerability. It will be located on land ceded by Manresa City Council, and has been designed with RCR Arquitectes, captivated by the importance of the social project.

Residential equipment in Terrassa

It is the result of a public-private project with the participation of Terrassa City Council, which has ceded the site to AMPANS, promoting a new residential project, in alliance with Prodis.

Our next App, among the projects exhibited at PECT BAGESS

We are developing a mobile application that will allow dependent people, in a situation of disability or ageing, to have a direct communication channel that will help them to be more autonomous and make them less dependent.

Care for elderly people with disabilities

We are designing a new residential care facility specifically for people with disabilities who are aging and require support that families often cannot provide due to a lack of specific resources.

Residential care for children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD)

We are working on a new residential home to provide care and support for children and adolescents with ASD.

Support for generalised support needs and behavioural disorders

We are designing a new residential facility for people with intellectual disabilities who require generalised support and have behavioural disorders.

Training centre

We are planning a training centre to provide tools and promote the skills of people with intellectual disabilities and those in vulnerable situations to find decent and quality employment.

Bringing the Occupational Centre service closer to municipal areas

We are promoting a change in the Occupational Service model, focusing on proximity and community connections, with the collaboration of all agents in the area: municipalities, entities, and residents. People will have an occupational service in their own municipality, thus developing their daily lives fully integrated into their natural environment.

Positive Behavioural Support

We are working on deploying the Positive Behavioural Support model of intervention to improve the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities and behavioural disorders who exhibit challenging behaviours. AMPANS endorses this universal model because it allows for the prevention and response to problematic behaviours, addressing the role of teachers, monitors, parents, and tutors, and creating favourable environments for better attention to these people.

Promotion of Easy Reading

Reading allows for sharing ideas, thoughts, and experiences and provides enormous confidence for individuals as it allows them to exercise control over their lives. AMPANS adapts information in Easy Reading format to ensure that access to reading and information is a right, and Easy Reading is a tool to make it accessible to everyone, especially people with reading difficulties.

Aging Care Plan

People with disabilities may present premature symptoms of aging from the age of 40. Ensuring their well-being and quality of life is one of AMPANS' commitments. For this reason, we have a working committee to detect signs of aging and personalised care programs to adapt to the needs of each person.

Collaborate with AMPANS

Social support has been key to the progress of AMPANS mission. Both in the achievement of projects that improve the life quality of people with intellectual disabilities and in need of support, and in raising awareness in society. We need you by our side to keep pursuing their full inclusion.
