Solidarity legacies: donations and solidarity testaments

Our project has received the support of forward-looking people who have seen, in the history of our organization, the ability to transform what they have bequeathed to us into projects and opportunities.

In some cases, our donors have made the donation in their lifetime and have been able to directly witness the opportunities their legacy has generated. They have even been able to meet the people who have benefited. Each and every donation that AMPANS receives, small or large, is helpful and has the most sincere thanks of the organization.

Transformative legacies

Santa Maria de Comabella, Santpedor.

A living donation made by Julio Payás and Rosa Puigarnau, allowed the creation of a school, a residence, a Garden and an occupational center. This donation was a turning point for the organization

Urpina, Sant Salvador de Guardiola.

A living donation by Joan Vila i Dolors Isern, turned into a care home, vineyards, a farm and a cheese factory. A project that created opportunities for people in need of support in a rural environment.

Casa Magnet, Manresa.

AMPANS inherited Assumpció Solernou home after she passed away. The organization built 4 apartments that now host people in the process of emancipation. They receive specific support in aspects of everyday life so that they can live alone or with their partner.

Edifici Prudenci Comellas, Manresa.

A whole building living donation by Filomena Álvarez was turned into foster apartments for young adults under guardianship programs who can no longer live where they used to as kids and teenagers.

How can I leave a legacy?

Anyone who has the capacity to leave a testament can leave a legacy. It is very important to make thoughtful decision. Find below some advice:

  • Contact your notary indicating what you want to bequeath and give our details, if we are the recipients. It is the best way to ensure that your will is carried out.
  • You can also inform someone you trust so they can let us know.
  • If it’s a living donation, you will be part of the grow and development of the project.
  • You can bequeath: financial assets, immovable assets, movable assets, total and partial inheritance.
  • Please let us know if there is anything you want to know about us or our projects.
